The Craft Group Meets every Wednesday from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Newport Baptist Church,26 Mason Newport. Bring your own Craft or Join in the creativity of the day.
Afternoon tea is provided.
Share with us your handmade craft items, as we share with you ours. Let us teach one another the crafts we have been doing. Embroidery, Painting, Scrapbooking, Tatting, Crocheting, Knitting, Colouring, Jewellery making, Christmas Decorations, Quilling, Card Making, and Repurposed Books such as Junk Journals and Children’s Art Journals. There are few restrictions as you create alongside like-minded women.
In the craft group, it’s important for us to sit and share life stories that make us who we are. We believe that craft is even more delightful when shared and more meaningful when we also share with each other.
Many, Many Laughs are had when we all try some of the crafts. It is enjoying the pleasure of learning something new. Sometimes we get inspired. Sometimes we just get satisfaction from working on something familiar and the sense of a job well done when something is complete.
We invite you to make the Craft Group part of your weekly activities.
Heather is the leader of our group and has been running the group since 2020. Experienced in many different crafts and will often bring along a current craft that she is trying to excel in.
