At Newport, our weekly and monthly activities reflect our commitment to fellowship, faith, and encouragement.
Our craft group offers a space where creativity and conversation come together. People gather to knit, sew, scrapbook, or explore new creative projects. As hands work, hearts open, and friendships form naturally. Whether you’re experienced or just curious, the group is a relaxed way to meet others.
We hold regular Bible studies where participants read, reflect, and discuss Scripture in a small group setting. These gatherings provide time for questions, insights, and mutual encouragement. Everyone is welcome, no matter your background or level of experience with the Bible.
We believe in the power of prayer. Our prayer meetings bring people together to lift up each other, our community, and the world. These gatherings create a peaceful space to express both gratitude and concern, standing in faith for God’s help and guidance.
Throughout the month, we share meals together—morning tea after services, casual lunches, and special events. These times strengthen community in simple yet meaningful ways. Sharing food allows space for deeper conversation and connection beyond the formalities of a service.
Our youth events provide a positive space for teenagers to gather, have fun, and grow in their faith. Games, food, and honest conversations help them build strong friendships while learning about God in practical, engaging ways.
Women of all ages enjoy dedicated times together that focus on encouragement, rest, and spiritual growth. These sessions may include guest speakers, shared meals, and time to pray and support one another. They are warm, welcoming, and deeply valued.
What We Do at Newport extends beyond programs. It’s about community, care, and living out our faith together. Whether you’re new or returning, there’s always a place for you here.
