Rev Julie Hunt commenced as NBC’s Senior Pastor in January 2020. She is married to Rick and they have three grown daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. Julie has been in ministry since 2006, serving at Lilydale Baptist Church and East Doncaster Baptist Church before coming to Newport. Rick has been the Chaplain at Oak Towers – a Churches of Christ Aged Care Residential Facility – since 2019.

They have been married for over 40 years and believe the secret to their long relationship is love, laughter and listening.

Julie and Rick are both passionate about the local church and how the local church can connect with its wider community.
